Waterproof & synthetic label printing in Penang
Print PP, Yupo and plastic-base labels in Penang for bottles, food containers, cosmetics, equipment and packaging. Jprint Studio helps match the label material, adhesive, surface and finishing to how the product will actually be used.

Where synthetic labels make practical sense
A synthetic label is useful when ordinary paper may absorb moisture, soften, scuff or wear too quickly. The final choice should still follow the product, surface and storage conditions.
Bottle & Beverage Labels
Labels for chilled drinks, water bottles, juices, sauces and containers that may form condensation.
- Curved surface planning
- White or clear stock
- Refrigeration details matter
Food Container Labels
Synthetic labels for takeaway tubs, frozen or chilled packs, jars and food packaging.
- Container surface check
- Oil and moisture discussion
- Label size and placement
Cosmetic & Personal Care
Labels for pumps, tubes, jars and bottles used in bathrooms, salons or treatment rooms.
- Frequent handling
- Matte or gloss finish
- Small text review
Equipment Labels
Operational, instruction, warning and identification labels for tools, cases and equipment.
- Handling resistance
- QR, serial or barcode use
- Surface compatibility
Packaging & Pouch Labels
Durable product labels, seals and information stickers for plastic packs, pouches and boxes.
- Flexible or rigid surfaces
- Die-cut shape options
- Launch quantities
Sheltered Outdoor Use
Synthetic stock can be considered for selected outdoor or semi-outdoor labels with suitable print and finishing.
- Sun and rain exposure review
- Expected service life
- Testing may be required
A durable label is more than just the word waterproof
PP, Yupo and other synthetic stocks do not absorb water like ordinary paper, but the complete result also depends on the ink or toner, protective finish, adhesive, surface energy, curve, cleanliness and when the label is applied.
White PP / Yupo-style stock
A versatile route for strong colour, small text and labels where the container should not show through.
Transparent film label
Useful when the bottle or container should remain visible. Artwork colour and white ink needs should be discussed.
Matte, gloss or lamination
Finishing changes appearance, surface feel and resistance to rubbing, moisture and frequent handling.
Surface and adhesive match
Glass, metal and different plastics behave differently. Curves, texture, oil, dust and low-energy plastics can affect bonding.
Important: “Waterproof” is commonly used as a buying term, but no label should be assumed suitable for every liquid, chemical, freezer, dishwasher, outdoor or underwater condition. Tell us the real exposure so we can recommend and test more accurately.

Questions to settle before production
The more accurately the usage is described, the better we can recommend a practical label material and finish.
Are PP and Yupo labels completely waterproof?
They are synthetic materials that resist water absorption better than ordinary paper. Complete performance still depends on the printing method, finishing, adhesive, surface and exposure, so the real application should be reviewed.
Can these labels be used on chilled bottles?
Yes, suitable synthetic labels can be considered for chilled bottles. Tell us whether labels are applied before or after chilling and whether condensation forms, because a wet surface can affect adhesion.
Will a synthetic label stick to any plastic container?
Not automatically. Different plastics have different surface energy, and curves, texture, dust or oil can affect adhesion. A container photo or physical sample helps with planning.
Can you print clear waterproof labels?
Yes, clear synthetic film may be suitable. The result depends on the container colour, artwork, transparency, white ink requirements and the desired no-label appearance.
Can you print QR codes, barcodes or serial information?
Yes. Send the code files and final label size so contrast, quiet space and practical scan size can be checked before printing.
Should I test a label before ordering a large quantity?
Testing is sensible when the surface, moisture, temperature, chemical exposure or expected lifespan is demanding. Ask us whether a sample or small run is practical for your job.
