Identity service levels

Choose the scope the business actually needs

Not every project needs a full brand programme. These routes separate a technical logo cleanup, a new logo, a basic identity kit and a broader system with usage guidance.

01 / REFRESH

Logo Cleanup & Refresh

Refine, redraw or modernise an existing mark while preserving agreed recognition.

  • Vector redraw
  • Proportion and spacing
  • Basic colour cleanup
02 / LOGO

New Logo Design

Develop a new core mark or wordmark from the approved brief and business context.

  • Concept direction
  • Primary logo
  • Core file formats
03 / IDENTITY

Basic Identity Kit

Build the logo into a practical starter system for common business materials.

  • Colour and typography
  • Logo variations
  • Selected applications
04 / SYSTEM

Visual Identity System

Create broader rules and assets for teams that need consistent rollout across many channels.

  • Usage guidance
  • Supporting elements
  • Application framework
Logo and identity scope

Define whether the project is new, corrective or an extension

A clear quotation starts by identifying what already exists, what should change and where the identity must work after approval.

01 NEW IDENTITY

Start from the business brief

Develop a fresh visual direction for a new business, product or division.

02 REBRAND

Change the existing direction

Reconsider the logo and identity when positioning, audience or business needs have shifted.

03 IDENTITY EXTENSION

Add useful applications

Expand an approved logo into colour, typography, stationery, signage or packaging rules.

04 ARTWORK RECOVERY

Rebuild production files

Redraw low-resolution artwork and prepare agreed logo versions for practical output.

Scope note: brand naming, trademark searching, legal clearance and trademark registration are not included unless specifically agreed. The customer is responsible for confirming ownership and availability of the business name, tagline and final mark before commercial use. Revision rounds, source files, font licensing and application counts are defined in the quotation.

For a clearer identity quotation

Send enough context to define the design route, applications and expected deliverables.

  • 01Business, industry, audience and core offer.
  • 02Confirmed business name, tagline and naming status.
  • 03Existing logo, materials and what should be kept or changed.
  • 04Reference styles and directions to follow or avoid.
  • 05Priority applications, launch date and deadline.

Identity building blocks

Move from business meaning to repeatable visual use

The logo is one part of the system. Stronger consistency comes from agreeing how the mark, colour, type and supporting elements work together.

01 / CONTEXT

Business meaning

Audience, offer, market and practical constraints shape the design direction.

02 / PERSONALITY

Visual character

Agree the qualities the identity should express and the styles it should avoid.

03 / MARK

Logo system

Primary logo, useful variations, spacing and size considerations support flexible use.

04 / LANGUAGE

Colour and type

Palette and typography create recognition across materials beyond the logo.

05 / APPLICATION

Real touchpoints

Test the identity on the business materials customers will actually encounter.

Design workflow

A staged process turns preference into clear decisions

01 / BRIEF

Understand the business

Confirm the audience, offer, context, applications and project goal.

02 / DIRECTION

Set visual territory

Align references, personality and broad design direction before refinement.

03 / CONCEPT

Develop the mark

Present the agreed concept scope and explain the design reasoning.

04 / SYSTEM

Refine and extend

Finalise the selected direction and build the agreed identity elements.

05 / RELEASE

Prepare final files

Approve the identity before final artwork and application files are supplied.

Your approval matters. Please approve the business name and tagline spelling, selected concept, colour and typography, logo variations, agreed applications, legal or trademark checks and final file list. Authorised decision-makers should return one consolidated set of feedback per round.
Possible deliverables

Agree the files and usage guidance before work starts

The exact deliverables depend on the selected service level, applications, software and licensing.

Logo design FAQ

Questions to settle before concepts begin

Logo projects move faster when naming, decision-makers, applications and revision expectations are clear.

How much does logo design cost?

Quotation depends on whether the job is a redraw, refresh, new logo, identity kit or broader visual system. Concept scope, applications, revisions and deliverables also affect the price.

What should I provide before logo design starts?

Provide the confirmed business name, offer, audience, competitors, preferred personality, reference styles, existing materials and the main places where the identity will appear.

Can Jprint update or redraw an old logo?

Yes. Send the best available files and explain what should be preserved. A technical redraw, visual refresh and full redesign are different scopes.

Does logo design include trademark registration?

No. Unless separately agreed, Jprint does not provide trademark searching, legal clearance or registration. Customers should obtain appropriate professional advice before commercial use.

How many concepts and revisions are included?

Concept directions and revision rounds depend on the quotation. Feedback should be consolidated by the authorised decision-makers at each stage.

Can Jprint apply the identity to printing and signage?

Yes. Business cards, stationery, folders, signboards, stickers, packaging and other agreed materials can be designed and produced as separate scopes.
